Who We Are

Edge Utility Networks Ltd is a UK-licensed Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO). It is authorised under the Electricity Act 1989 to design, own, operate and maintain electricity distribution networks across Great Britain. The licence and/or its conditions may be modified in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory processes.

As a licensed IDNO, Edge Utility Networks is required to accede to and comply with relevant electricity industry codes and associated governance requirements, supporting safe, efficient and non-discriminatory network operation.
